There are multiple advantages of using images while learning. First of all, if you include any type of image to your explanations you are developing your students' visual skills. Apart from that, using real images (as the ones you have seen above) can motivate learners because they are looking on something real, and the curiosity increases more. The use of images and videos on Natural and Social Science are mots of the times neccessary in cases the teacher wants to show the students the reality itself, that are around us.
Apart from that, there is a exceptional and accesible resource. It helps so much students who has more visually memorization, and helps them to visualize the lesson, focus more on the topic and remember it for such a longer period of time. Tying up the loose ends... who do not want to make their classes more fun? Students will thank you!
Do you agree with me?
Also, I bring to you an amazing website in which you can search for all types of images.
Of course, Pinterest is one ot the most common websites used for looking for images, but... I strong recommend to you another one called: Reshot
But... STOP!
There is something important you must know about using images from Internet source. All images you use have COPYRIGHT! I mean, there is someone who has create this image, and this person share with you his/her creation. But it is neccessary to add the author because the creation needs to be reconized.
Creative Commons licensing has become a simple way for individuals to define how their works can be used. The author of the content can use the free licensing tool from the Creative Commons Organization to choose the best license.
This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.
