Final video project!
Hey! what's up!
Do you remember the story from my last post? If you did not have time to read it, please, click on this link.
The title of the video is: "Recognizing Women's work", and with this video, we want to recreate the story we created in the last post, in which we offer the students an engaging tool to read the information we want to transmit to them.
The advantage of using these types of videos in class is that students will be able to watch them as many times as they want. They will be able to continually draw on the information that appears in the video.
If you want to read all the important information we added to the video, have a look at the following Google Doc:
All the online tools we used for creating the whole video and its elements, music... and so on are the following:
- Powtoon online app for creating animated videos.
- Free Music Archive in order to add some free music to our video.
- The Online Video Editor for combining all the elements and create the video!
Hope you find these websites practical! I'm sure you will use it as more as you think!
To be honest, I need to say that I encountered a few problems while my mates and I were creating the video. Firstly, we realized that Powtoon only has a limit of 3 minutes of video, so we had to create more than one Powtoon in order to cover all the time of our audio. These things always happen, but I tell you in advance so that you cannot have these issues! Apart from that, I recommend watching a video tutorial first, in order to learn how to use the online tools, in case you do not have too much time to lose!
Conversely, I found all the websites very practical, and I become an expert in less than three uses! The cool thing is that you can add the information adapted to the level of the students so that they can understand perfectly the video, and it is not so difficult for them to learn. The MAIN thing is... you need a great connection to the internet, because if not... you will spend a lot of hours!
This video is really useful for practicing values and improve students' respect for women, as I have already written in the last post. Just click here in order to review the story!
And finally... here it is!!! ENJOY!!!
