Hey! what's up! Do you remember the story from my last post? If you did not have time to read it, please, click on this link . The title of the video is: "Recognizing Women's work" , and with this video, we want to recreate the story we created in the last post, in which we offer the students an engaging tool to read the information we want to transmit to them.  The advantage of using these types of videos in class is that students will be able to watch them as many times as they want . They will be able to continually draw on the information that appears in the video. If you want to read all the important information we added to the video, have a look at the following Google Doc:   All the online tools we used for creating the whole video and its elements, music... and so on are the following:  - Powtoon online app for creating animated videos. - Free Music Archive in order to add some free music to our video. - The Online Video Editor for combining all the elem

Hello!!!  Did you miss me?  My mates and I decided to create a video about the recognition of women's work  to dedicate some time in class to talk about this topic.  How can we use these videos for educational purposes ? It's very easy because with these tools you can engage students in the topic you want. Your students can feel more attracted to the lesson if you introduce the topic with an original video! Apart from that, our students can have an initial idea about what your video is going to be afterward. In each slide, the students will read a brief resume of how is going to the stor

Hello! Welcome to another post This post is going to be dedicated to podcasts ! Yayyyy!  Podcasting has been becoming hardly trending these recent years, and some teachers have started using it in class! But... how can you take advantage of this tool during classes?  There are a lot of advantages of using educational podcasts . First and foremost, it can reinforce the students' oral comprehension, you keep the students' attention on what they are listening to and stimulate the imagination . Apart from that, you can collect all these podcasts in a playlist and you can listen to them all the times you want! This means that everybody can listen to the contents you explain, some important information about the course... and so on. You won't have any excuse that you have forgotten to turn in your homework! With podcasting, you will become a storyteller , and the wonderful fact is that you can also add some original intonation and some action to your podcasts. There are such am

Sometimes we have to explain something to our students which is a little bit boring for them, so it would be a good practice if we use better websites to create  supportive educational slideshows for them. There are incredibly websites you can use for creating online presentations are: - Prezi - Powtoon -  Biteslide You can use even Google Slides! The most commonly used and (for me) one of the most useful online tools for creating ingenious presentations is Genial.ly. I have recently talked about this wonderful website on one of my blog posts. If you want to read more advantages about it, just click HERE . Personally, this is the third or fourth time I use this website to make presentations, and I need to say that the more I use it, the more
